Item description

21st February was an epoch making event that has been immortalized by Global recognition as declared by UNESCO in 2000 as The International Mother Language Day. The entire state of Bengal celebrates 21st February as the Bangla Bhasha Dibash. Keeping true to the spirit of the state B.D.M. International celebrates this day in all its glory. In lieu of the honour of the day a special assembly was organized. The assembly started with the pledge and the promise orated in the vernacular language. The students presented with an insight on the significance of this Day- how many unnamed martyrs died to make the language see the light of the day. This was followed by various songs and recitation of verses by Tagore and Jibanananda Das. The assembly was concluded by singing of the National Anthem. BDM International is proud to be a part of this movement of survival of the Bangla language which has been ranked as the sweetest language by UNESCO in 2010.
BDM International always starves to provide the best for their students. This is how it works in the best way for them. And that is why the school with a 20 year old legacy is still going strong with its value and vision.
